Setting up my own SOHO network

When I was setting up a SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) network, I followed a few essential steps to ensure that the network was secure, reliable, and scalable. First, I chose the appropriate hardware, such as routers, switches, and access points, that met the needs of my business. Next, I configured the network with a secure Wi-Fi network, firewall, and network addressing scheme. I also ensured that the network was set up to allow for easy access to shared resources, such as printers and storage devices. Additionally, I implemented remote access capabilities, which was crucial since my business had remote employees and required access to the network from outside the office. Finally, I monitored and maintained the network regularly to ensure that it continued to operate smoothly and securely. The setup process required a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, as well as experience with network hardware and software configuration. I have experience with enterprise networks like Ubiquiti and I also have made home networks with compatible consumer hardware.
